Public Right of Way

Applications for Right Of Way permits are submitted through the Building and Fire Safety Department.

Right of Way permits are required for anyone wishing to work within the Right of Way.  This includes but is not limited to any persons/entities that wish to  construct, alter or repair utilities within the Right of Way,  place signs (exception:  signs exempted under ARS 16-1019) within the Right of Way or restrict the flow of traffic for any reason within the Town’s Right of Way.

Submittals shall include:
                  1 application
                  2 sets of Traffic Control Plans in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
                  2 sets of Construction Drawings

***Effective July 1st, 2016 through June 30, 2018 there is a moratorium in effect for the cutting of asphalt on Cave Creek Road from Sentinel Rock to Scopa Trail.  This was done in an effort to preserve the newly placed pavement on Cave Creek Road.  Throughout the moratorium all utilities will be required to be bored under the roadway.  Potholing for utility location will be reviewed on a case by case basis*****
