2.         PRESENTATION BY CHRIS CULLINAN OF TISCHLERBISE, TOWNS CONSULTANTS REGARDING THE TOWN OF CAVE CREEK DEVELOPMENT FEE STUDY.

Council Action Needed:         NO ACTION IS REQUIRED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL.

 

Narrative: The Town of Cave Creek contracted with TischlerBise to update its development fees for the following infrastructure categories of Water, Wastewater, Open Space and Trails, Recreation, Public Buildings and Equipment, and Transportation. Development fees are one-time payments for public facilities based on the prorated share of costs incurred for facilities needed to accommodate new development. Development fees relate only to capital facility expansions resulting from new development and are not to be utilized for rehabilitation efforts or operating expenses. This presentation will serve as the beginning of the 60 day notice period as required by A.R.S. 9-463.05.
