Council Action Needed:         Motion to approve First Reading of Ordinance O2006-17, an Ordinance of the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Cave Creek, Maricopa County, Arizona amending Section 37.02 of the Town Code regarding purchasing procedures.

 

Narrative:  This is a request for Council to give First Reading to an ordinance that amends Section 37.02 (B) and (C) of the Town Code regarding purchasing regulations.

4.         DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO AMEND COUNCIL POLICY NO. 35 REGARDING ESTABLISHMENT OF A MINIMUM CONTINGENCY PERCENTAGE

Council Action Needed:         Motion to approve amendments to Council Policy No. 35 as follows:

The contingency amount shall be equal to:

10% of General Fund Sales Tax and State Shared Revenues for the General Fund

10% of Highway User Fund State Shared revenues for the Highway User Fund

10% of Sewer Enterprise Sales Tax and State Shared Revenues for the Sewer Enterprise Fund

 

Narrative:  This is a request for Council to discuss and possibly approve an amendment to Council Policy No. 35 to set the contingency amount in the General Fund operating budget equal to 10% of the General Fund State Shared and Sales Tax revenues; 10% of Highway User Fund State Shared revenues for the Highway User Fund and 10% of Sewer Enterprise Fund State Shared and Sales Tax Revenues for the Sewer Enterprise Fund.

5.         DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS ROAD CREW TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ON STAGECOACH PASS FROM SUNSET TRAIL EAST TO VICTORIA DRIVE ALIGNMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TRAIL ACCESS TO BLACK MOUNTAIN PRESERVE.
