RESOLUTION R2007-23 CALLING
UPON THE CITIZENS AND BUSINESSES OF CAVE CREEK TO REFRAIN FROM ENCOURAGING
ALIENS TO UNLAWFULLY ENTER OR REMAIN IN THE UNITED STATES AND TO COMPLY WITH
ALL LAWS REGARDING THE EMPLOYMENT OF UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS; REQUESTING THE UNITED
STATES SENATORS AND CONGRESSMAN WHO REPRESENT THE CITIZENS OF CAVE CREEK TO
TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ENFORCE THE IMMIGRATION LAWS AND SECURE THE
BORDERS OF THE UNITED STATES; AND DIRECTING THE TOWN MARSHAL TO TAKE ALL LAWFUL
STEPS TO COOPERATE WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND OTHER APPROPRIATE LAW

Action Needed: Motion to adopt Resolution
R2007-23, A Resolution of the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Cave Creek,
Maricopa County, Arizona, calling upon the citizens and businesses of Cave
Creek to refrain from encouraging aliens to unlawfully enter or remain in the
United States and to comply with all laws regarding the employment of
unauthorized aliens; requesting the United States Senators and Congressman who
represent the citizens of Cave Creek to take all actions necessary to enforce
the immigration laws and secure the borders of the United States; and directing
the Town Marshal to take all lawful steps to cooperate with the United States
government and other appropriate law enforcement officers in the enforcement of
the immigration laws and A.R.S. §23-212.
Narrative: Council discussion and possible adoption of a
resolution regardingrelated to
the employment of unauthorized aliens and requesting our U.S. representatives
to take action to enforce the immigration laws and secure the
borders of the United States and directing the Town Marshal to take
all lawful steps to cooperate with the U.S. government on
enforcement of immigration laws and A.R.S.§23-212.
